We’re pleased to announce dates for the 2025 artists-in-residence program with the First Nations Anangu artists from Ernabella Arts.
The Red Centre of Australia is a land of mesmerising beauty, rich cultural heritage, and national icons. As the sun graces the horizon, a world of exploration unfolds, offering a plethora of unforgettable experiences for adventurous souls.
While guests of Longitude 131 have some unique ways to see these wonders such as helicopter tours or camel tours, walks and hikes in the Red Centre offer a direct sense of immersion often juxtaposed by towering ancient walls of rock and in sacred regions that emanate millennia old dreamtime stories of the Anangu Peoples.

This six-kilometre circuit walk takes you through a dramatic landscape of towering sandstone cliffs, weathered domes, and lush pockets of vegetation. Home to 36 mighty red rock domes, Kata Tjuta is taller and wider than Uluru. In the company of a knowledgeable Longitude 131° guide, discover the geology and history of Kata Tjuta, formerly known as The Olgas.
