We’re pleased to announce dates for the 2026 artists-in-residence program with the First Nations Anangu artists from Ernabella Arts.

At Longitude 131°, our partnership with Ernabella Arts – a celebrated First Nations arts community in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands – is a cornerstone of our commitment to cultural connection and storytelling.

A highlight of this collaboration is our artist-in-residence program, which welcomes Ernabella artists to the lodge to paint with sweeping views of Uluru and Kata Tjuta. During these visits, guests are invited to observe the creative process, gaining rare insight into the artists’ practice as each vibrant piece comes to life.

The 2026 program dates are:

  • February 16-19
  • March 23-26
  • April 13-16

Set against the rich cultural landscape of the Red Centre, this shared experience offers a meaningful encounter with the living traditions of the Anangu people – one of deep respect, artistic inspiration, and a sense of place.
